Practice Participation Group

We are always looking for ways in which we can improve our service to our patients and one way in which we get feedback from patients is through our Patient Participation Group (PPG).

The PPG is a group of Quayside patients who meet once a quarter to provide a patient’s view on the planning, provision and delivery of care through the practice. The PPG provides a link between the Practice and patients with a view to contributing to the continual improvement of existing service and help the practice to develop new services to meet patient needs.

Would you be interested in getting involved with our Patient Participation Group?

In order to ensure we have a wide range of input from our patients we are always looking for new members for the PPG. If you are aged 18 or over and are a registered patient of the practice you can apply to be a member.

If you would like to apply to be a member of the Quayside Medical please complete our short enquiry form and we will be in touch to discuss.

In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, the practice is performing telephone triage for all patients prior to determining the best course of action for their care. Therefore, please be aware, that you will receive a call back from the appropriate medical professional to discuss your health problem.

Do not under any circumstances attend surgery without being asked to do so after telephone assessment. If you do attend for an appointment, please wear a face covering if you can.

The main symptoms of coronavirus are:

- A high temperature

- A new, continuous cough

- Loss or change to your sense of taste or smell

To protect others please get a test and stay at home if you have any of these symptoms.
