Contacting the Surgery

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, how you contact us will be different at the moment. This is to limit face-to-face contact whenever possible and help stop the spread of coronavirus.

Quayside Medical Centre is open and if you need to see your clinical team, please ring us on 01472 344 608 or visit our website on www.quaysidemedicalcentre.co.uk.

Our opening hours are:

Monday 8.00 am - 6.30 pm

Tuesday 8.00 am - 6.30 pm

Wednesday 8.00 am - 7.30 pm

Thursday 8.00 am - 6.30 pm

Friday 8.00 am - 6.30 pm

You can also call NHS 111. Please do not come to the surgery unless you have an appointment.

If you are waiting for a check-up, please be assured we will be in touch. Appointments are being delivered face-to-face, online and over the telephone. If you are asked to come into the surgery for a face-to-face appointment, please remember to wear a face covering. Measures are in place to keep you safe from infection during your visit to the surgery.

CORONAVIRUS ADVICE

In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, the practice is performing telephone triage for all patients prior to determining the best course of action for their care. Therefore, please be aware, that you will receive a call back from the appropriate medical professional to discuss your health problem.

Do not under any circumstances attend surgery without being asked to do so after telephone assessment. If you do attend for an appointment, please wear a face covering if you can.

The main symptoms of coronavirus are:

- A high temperature

- A new, continuous cough

- Loss or change to your sense of taste or smell

To protect others please get a test and stay at home if you have any of these symptoms.
